Legal Disclaimer
Effective 2026-05-18.
Hackers Agent is an AI-powered defensive-security research platform. This disclaimer summarises the limits of what we provide and what the user is responsible for. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
1. AI output is not professional advice
All content generated by Hackers Agent — threat-intel reports, vulnerability classifications, remediation guidance, code samples, regex rules, scan results, and chat responses — is produced by large language models trained on public data. It does NOT constitute:
- Legal advice — consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
- Medical or psychological advice — consult a licensed clinician.
- Financial or investment advice — consult a registered financial professional.
- Definitive security guidance for production systems — have a qualified human security engineer validate every recommendation before deployment.
- A substitute for a real penetration test by a credentialed firm with an executed Statement of Work.
2. Accuracy is probabilistic, not guaranteed
AI models can produce content that is partially or wholly incorrect, outdated, internally inconsistent, or fabricated (“hallucinated”) — even when phrased with confidence. CVE numbers, CVSS scores, exploit availability, product affected-version lists, dark-web post timestamps, and threat-actor attributions may all be wrong. You bear sole responsibility for verifying every fact, IOC, or piece of code before relying on it. Always cross-reference critical findings against authoritative sources (NVD, MITRE ATT&CK, vendor advisories, primary sources).
3. Security tools generated by the Service
The Service can generate code, scripts, YARA rules, regex, Nmap/Nuclei templates, and similar artifacts. We make NO warranty that any such artifact:
- compiles, runs, or produces the expected output;
- is safe to execute against any system you do not own and control;
- does not contain bugs, side effects, or non-obvious harm to the host environment;
- complies with any specific industry standard (PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.).
You will treat all generated artifacts as untrusted code from an unknown source and apply your own review, sandboxing, and change-control process before deployment.
4. Dark-web reconnaissance disclaimers
Our Dark Web TI Agent passively crawls Tor-hosted search engines and onion-site indexes for defensive intelligence. The content surfaced may include:
- mention of stolen credentials, breach databases, or trafficked data — we surface this so you can defend against it; we do not host or distribute it;
- links to onion services that may be illegal to access in your jurisdiction;
- unverified threat-actor claims, fabricated leaks, or scams.
Surfacing a fact is not endorsement, attestation, or assertion of truth. Apply professional judgment and your own corroboration process. Do NOT use surfaced links to acquire stolen data, contact threat actors, or facilitate any criminal act — see our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. No warranty of service availability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free.
6. Third-party providers
Hackers Agent integrates third-party AI providers (Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter), payment processors (Stripe, Paddle), infrastructure (Google Cloud, Cloudflare, Vercel), and intelligence sources (open-source onion search engines via Tor). We are not liable for outages, content moderation decisions, or terms-of-service actions taken by these third parties.
7. Jurisdictional scope
Some content surfaced or generated by the Service may not be appropriate or legal in all jurisdictions. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the laws of your country, state, and any organization you operate on behalf of (including the US Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the UK Computer Misuse Act, the EU NIS2 Directive, GDPR, and equivalent local laws).
8. No professional relationship
Using the Service does NOT create an attorney-client, doctor-patient, fiduciary, security-consultant, or any other professional or advisory relationship between you and Hackers Agent or its operators.
